We have had a few of these over the years, but this is the first time I have ever seen the instruction manual. Interestingly, the so called "forbidden"setting is descreibed by the maker as "fuzz face" setting , where "notes will become unpredictable"! In 100% working order, circuit untouched & no scratchy pots etc.
