It was crafted from 18k rosy gold, which has a rich and beautiful patina that can only come from age. The locket is hallmarked on the interior rim with two eagle heads. The interior opens to reveal a thick, hinged beveled glass partition which can be used to store a photo or special memory. The locket closes securely with some oxidation to the side that we have left as a
