The reel is in excellent condition. Made in the USA. Serial #629. The Syncrotech series were the finest reels G. Loomis produced, designed to match the capabilities of their best rods. The GL8910 was the second largest of the five model series, and only one of two that were of large arbor design. The reel features a disc drag system, and turns smoothly on 3 Teflon coated,
